WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT TO US

Roughly 20% of new businesses close in their first year and roughly 50% of new businesses close within 5 years. With 42% of all companies in the US owned by women and 62% of them relying on their company as a main source of income, you understand that helping women business owners grow is important not only to women and their families, but also to the communities they live and work in.

That is why we are focused on creating experiences for women in business to grow themselves and their businesses. And you can partner with us on this effort by supporting our BWC Book Drive.

The funds raised by this event will go to the Myrna Marofsky Scholarship Fund which will assist women in paying for membership fees with The BWC. This will allow women who own small businesses but can’t yet afford the full membership fee the ability to take advantage of the peer coaching, support, community connections and education a Circle membership provides.

About the Event

Thanks to a partnership with ModernWell - we will be holding our Book Drive in their beautiful space. Come enjoy a warm beverage while browsing gently used books and some brand new ones!

You can also meet Myrna Marofsky, BWC Founder and Author of To the Last Dance. She’ll be around for a meet and greet and to sign her book.
